Questions & Answers

What kinds of things will you draw?
Pretty much anything that involves a central character. I can draw anthropomorphic, feral, and humanoid characters — I'm most confident with animals of either body plan. I love to draw ungulates and oddities outside of the usual canid shapes. I'm happy to draw sensitive, suggestive, or explicit content, you'd struggle to weird me out.
What won't you draw?
Simply, anything that could get either of us into trouble. We can discuss what you have in mind first if you're unsure. In terms of skill shortfalls, detailed backgrounds, complex clothing, and realistic machinery (including vehicles) are very time-consuming and unlikely to be offered without a price increase.
I don't have my own character, is that okay?
Sure. I can illustrate natural-looking, "generic", animals if you provide me the exact species you have in mind. The rest of the commission will be handled the same as any other. I will not draw other people's characters for you unless you have recieved permission from them.
I'm alterhuman, can you draw my kintype?
I'd be more than happy to draw you. I can work from photographic references of your species or a standard reference sheet if you have one.
Will you draw characters from popular works of fiction?
Maybe. Unless you're commissioning a character featured in a work I'm familiar with, I'm likely to turn this down.
I don't have a reference sheet, is that okay?
While it's ideal to work from a reference sheet, I can use other pieces of art, written descriptions, mindmaps, notes, or sketches. Depending on the situation, it may incur extra costs for added complexity and extra alterations.
Do you offer cheaper tiers, like sketches, flat-coloured pieces, or emotes?
I find it difficult to price these categories fairly for both parties and the resulting artwork isn't very pretty, so I would rather focus on larger, polished illustrations. That said, if you're desperate for one, we can discuss it.
What about more expensive tiers, like reference sheets, comics, and customs?
Not routinely, as the total cost for the increased hours of labour can get quite high. If you have money to throw at it, I'd be happy to make you one.
