About Me:

I go by Tigris; I use They/Them and He/Him pronouns with no preference. I’m alterhuman (therianthrope, otherhearted, and fictionfolk) and I’m in the furry fandom. I awakened as a therianthrope in mid-2015 and have been hovering around the alterhuman commmunity ever since, though it's only in the past few years that I've come out of my shell and dedicated more time and effort to giving back to this commmunity. I'm aroallo and non-partnering and in a romantic relationship with a sole fictional character: Rosemary from the Metal Gear Solid series.

My biggest interests outside of alterhumanity are ornithology, natural history (particularly concerning ungulates), internet history and subculture, vintage tech, and electronic, metal, and industrial music. I'm primarily a birder, essayist, and artist!

I'm hoping to use this website to share my experiences, knowledge, and interests with others, and to develop my coding skills. I needed my very own space divorced from social media where I can write whatever I want without shame, where I do not have to worry about what others may think of me, and where there are no likes or real follow count to base the worth of my thoughts on. I also find the movement to bring back personal websites, especially within the alterhuman community, appealing and something I want to get behind. I hope that this website can teach you a little or at least provide a nice space to read what I've gathered here.
